Brush

Description
Small, light grey/brown brush. Long, paddle – like shape. Some sections are missing through damage. One end is shaped like a shoe horn, the other has rows of holes. There also appears to be some initials or a pattern on the reverse towards the centre. This brush is made from animal bone, and would have had animal hair bristles. The copper wire used to hold the hair tufts in place is still visible. A back may have been glued on to cover the grooved surface. It might have been used as either a hair or a clothes brush.
