Fuse

Description
Wooden fuse, brown in colour. Almost cylindrical in shape but one end is wider than the other. Also has two engraved rings around it at each end. The wider end is hollowed out with a smaller hole through the centre. There is also an engraving of the letters “NT” and an engraved “I” on the bottom.

This grenade fuse acted as a timer due to its measured length. The lit fuse was attached to a grenade which was then thrown into the enemy at close quarters. The resulting explosion could inflict significant damage.
