Gouging Chisel
Description
A modern gouge is similar to a chisel except its blade edge is not flat, but instead is curved or angled in cross-section. Gouges are used extensively in woodworking and can be used for running flutes or paring curves. The metal blade has 'T & H SORBY' stamped on it, and the wooden handle has a patterned set of rings.
