Gouge Chisel
Description
A modern gouge is similar to a chisel except its blade edge is not flat, but instead is curved or angled in cross-section. Gouges are used extensively in woodworking and can be used for running flutes or paring curves. The metal blade has 'I.SORBY SHEFFIELD' cast into it and the wooden handle GC inscribed.
