Description
One letter (copy of) sent from Major General Sir E. Ironside (of the Commanding Allied Forces, Archangel) to the Senior Naval Officer, White Sea dated 21st September 1919. The letter expresses his thanks from all ranks of the Army to the Royal Navy for their co-operation. The RN in the DVINA assisted with landing parties and other tasks the help forces advance and withdraw. The letter was sent from the General Headquarters, Archangel.
