Outside Caliper
Description
The spread of the arms is opened until it just brushes over the object being measured usually of a cylindrical form like a pipe. In addition to being used to measure against a ruler it can be set to ensure that the material being worked like a turned piece of timber has a consistent diamaeter along its length. TL stamped on one arm - just about legible.
